Check out the World’s Biggest Axe and stop into the Big Axe Brewery to try the local award-winning craft beer and grab a bite to eat. Nackawic is host to so many great events throughout the year, including the Festival on the Bend, Destination Nackawic Small Mouth Open, and the Big Axe Craft Beer Festival. The Big Axe Brewery often hosts dart nights, crib nights, live music and more, check-out their Facebook page to see what exciting events they have going on. Summer

Head out on an ATV or dirt bike to take in the natural beauty from valleys to peaks, lush green forests, and the mesmerizing flow of the waterways that lace through New Brunswick. Golfing, boating, sport fishing, and hiking for the active adventurer. Visit the Marina along the Nackawic waterfront to launch your boat or rent kayak's or water bikes, and enjoy a day out on the water. Looking for peace and serenity? Enjoy a relaxing drive along the loop scenic drive or visit one of the many waterfalls in the area to take in the scenery. In need of some fun family activities? Try tree trekking in Mactaquac at TreeGo or take a step back in time and visit Kings Landing and its 300-acre open-air museum.

Winter

Snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Explore the groomed trails, or take a short drive to Crabbe Mountain for more winter fun! Love fishing? Licensed fishermen can enjoy ice fishing from January to the end of March on the Saint John River or one of the many lakes that surround this area.
